External Scholarships - academic, sport, music and choral.
Scholarships are awarded to students in Years 4 to 7 of with academic, musical, sporting or choral aptitude, following an academic examination and instrumental or singing audition. Scholarship value varies depending on the type offered and individual circumstances.

Academic, Sport, Music and Choral Scholarship applications must be received by 4:00pm on Friday 8 May 2026.

Academic examination date: 21 May 2026.
- Music audition date: 22 May 2026.
- Scholarships will be offered on Wednesday 10 June 2026.
- Acceptance must be made by 4.00pm on Friday 12 June 2026.

Internal Scholarships - academic, music and choral.
Since opening in 1881, The Cathedral Grammar School has offered current and prospective students various discounts to reward ability and encourage attendance. Internal scholarships are available to current students in Year 6 and Year 7 for the following academic year.
