An inclusive Anglican school

Cathedral Grammar is an inclusive Anglican school, welcoming students and families of all faiths and backgrounds.

You do not need to be a practising Anglican, or belong to any religion, to enrol at The Cathedral Grammar School.

Our Anglican foundation shapes the values, traditions and life of our School while providing opportunities for students to explore faith, meaning, service and their responsibilities to others within a respectful and inclusive community.

Worship and chapel life

As an Anglican school, worship, reflection and service are an important part of the rhythm of life at Cathedral Grammar.

Students come together weekly for Chapel, providing opportunities for prayer, reflection, music and connection as a school community.

A full-school Chapel service is held each Monday during term time. Our Junior School gathers for Chapel on Wednesday mornings, while our Preparatory School gathers for Chapel on Thursday mornings.

Throughout the year, our whole school community also comes together for termly Cathedral services. These services mark significant moments in the life of the School and reflect our unique and historic relationship with ChristChurch Cathedral.
