At the recent Friends' Association Back to School BBQ, the Qiao Yi Hong De Lion Dance Team, known for their captivating dragon dance, graced our community in celebration of Lunar New Year. It is tradition that the dragon symbolises strength, good luck, and power, with the dance believed to bring prosperity and dispel evil spirits. Putting items into the dragon's mouth symbolises its ability to consume negativity, transforming it into positive energy and blessings. This symbolic act ensures a prosperous and harmonious year.

Families, along with Principal, Scott Thelning, delighted in receiving gifts from the dragon's mouth, highlighting our commitment to embracing multicultural aspects within our community.
