External Scholarships - academic, sport, music and choral.

Scholarships are awarded to students in Years 4 to 8 of with academic, musical, sporting or choral aptitude, following an academic examination and instrumental or singing audition. Scholarship value varies depending on the type offered and individual circumstances.

  • Academic, Sport, Music and Choral Scholarship applications must be received by 4:00pm on Friday 9 May 2025.

  • Academic examination date: 21 May 2025.

  • Music audition date: 23 May 2025.
  • Scholarships will be offered on Wednesday 11 June 2025.
  • Acceptance must be made by 4.00pm on Friday 13 June 2025.

Internal Scholarships - academic, music and choral.

Since opening in 1881, The Cathedral Grammar School has offered current and prospective students various discounts to reward ability and encourage attendance.

  • Academic and Music Scholarship applications must be received by 4:00pm on Friday 10 May 2024.

  • Academic examination date: 14 May 2024.

  • Music audition date: 17 May 2024.

  • Scholarships will be offered on Wednesday 12 June 2024.
  • Acceptance must be made by 4.00pm on Friday 14 June 2024.
