2021
On return to school in 2020 after our first nation-wide lockdown, the students at The Cathedral Grammar School were gifted a COVID-19 badge. This was placed on their school blazer to forever symbolise community strength and resilience, acknowledging our support of each other through uncertain and challenging times.
The current 2021 lockdown has seen our community again draw upon these attributes to work together to achieve the best outcomes for our staff, school families and students. Whiria te tangata - weave the people together.
Our students' learning has continued and their achievements celebrated in innovative ways. We are so very proud of our staff and their unwavering commitment to the students in their care. Their ability to collaborate as a team, reflect and adapt to ensure our students have the best outcome is to be commended.
Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi engari he toa takimano - my strength is not of an individual, but that of the collective.
