We are incredibly proud to announce that our Year 8 student and Deputy Head Girl, Beatrice Holt, has been selected for the New Zealand Secondary Students' Choir!

This is an exceptional achievement, particularly as Beatrice is only just old enough to be eligible for the choir, which brings together talented young singers from Years 9–13 across New Zealand.

Over the past two years, Beatrice has flourished as a member of our Girl Choristers under the guidance of Kimberley Wood, developing her vocal ability, musicianship and confidence. Alongside this, Cathedral Grammar's extensive music programme has provided Beatrice with a wealth of opportunities to perform, both vocally and instrumentally, allowing her to refine her musical craft, broaden her experience and grow in confidence as a performer.

Beatrice has also been awarded a Music Scholarship to St Margaret's College from Year 9 in 2027.

These outstanding achievements are a testament to Beatrice's talent, dedication and hard work, and the musical opportunities she has embraced throughout her Cathedral Grammar journey.

Congratulations, Beatrice!
