We are incredibly proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students in this year's World Maths Day Challenge.
Competing against schools from across New Zealand, Cathedral Grammar students demonstrated exceptional mathematical ability, perseverance and enthusiasm, with the school achieving 1st place nationally in three year groups.
Year 5 (NZ Year 5) – 1st in New Zealand
Year 7 (NZ Year 7) – 1st in New Zealand
Year 8 (NZ Year 8) – 1st in New Zealand
This remarkable accomplishment reflects the dedication of our students, the expertise of our teaching staff, and the strength of our mathematics programme. The World Maths Day Challenge encourages students to develop confidence, accuracy and problem-solving skills while competing in a fun and engaging international environment.
